Talk to the folks running your meetings. Ask if they could look over your journal. Chances are they will see things in your journal that may lead to some answers. You should also consult your doctor since you have a thyroid issue. He may want to adjust your treatment while on the diet which may in turn be affecting your mood, skin and maybe even your (lack of) weight loss. Don't forget too that your body needs food constantly for it to be running it's most efficient. You want to space out all your food throughout the day fairly evenly. Make sure you drink plenty of liquids-also an important thing.References :

Sometimes diet alone is not enough. If you have not started an exercise routine yet now is the perfect time. Do not overdue it but you do need to push it a little. You should be doing some form of exercise (even if it is just walking) 4-5 days a week for 30-45 minutes each time. As your body starts to lose some weight and you become accustomed to the exercise, start to increase the intensity and or the length of time dedicated to exercising.

Good luck with your goals and don't give up!References : Weight Watchers Reference SIte: http://onemorepound.com

first answer - Not all sugar is bad. If you completely kill sugar from your diet, you'll get low-blood sugar and feel even worse. Get your sugar from fruit or healthy cereal.

You're most likely suffering from an IMPROPER DIET. You have no energy and your skin is suffering. See a doctor.References :

A couple of years ago I joined weight watchers and lost 80 pounds. It is possible. I think the best thing I did was exercise my butt off! At least six days a week I would ride my bicycle for perhaps an hour and on the weekends, sometimes twice a day. I am an older person (baby boomer) and work part time so I had the time to exercise. Alot of the people at the meetings had small children, physical limitations and did not lose the weight at the rate I was. You have to remember that you did not get the extra weight overnight. The biggest thing is to change your attitude about food. Norman Vincent Peale said " Change your thoughts and you change the world. It is within your power. Food is something to nourish your body and shouldn't become a sport. Losing weight is HARD. There's just no way around it. Choose to be healthy for yourself and your children. Good luck to you.References : Life experience.

Talk to the other people there, ask how many have been 2 or 3 times before. The fact is that losing weight can be almost impossible for some people and nobody really knows all the answers.References :

I was also part of weight watchers....
its a scam...of sorts...
they give you a plan to stick to, and it DOES help you lose weight. but hun, it takes more than three weeks. your body is probably saying "oh, she is lowering her intake, lets stock up'' now you WILL lose weight very soon. as your body gets used to the lower intake. but stress also causes more weight. AND the point of Weightwatchers is the meetings. they believe that with support you can lose weight. you are in charge of your intake. they are just there to support you and help you get ideas. things you could easily do with a supportive family.
i hope that helped.References : Personal experience
